Normally Mixed Within 2 Working Days
After an appointment, tinctures are usually mixed within 2 working days. Same-day dispensing is sometimes possible after a morning appointment, but it is not promised when the dispensary queue is already full.
Postal orders are sent Tuesday to Friday. Liquids are not posted over a bank holiday weekend. UK postage for tinctures is £4.80, and local delivery inside Totnes is £3.

Repeats And Reviews
Repeat Tinctures Are For Current Clients
When A Repeat Is Straightforward
If Ruth has consulted you, your circumstances have not changed and the previous label still makes sense, a repeat can often be dispensed after a check.
When A Review Is Needed
A fresh appointment may be needed if symptoms have changed, medication has changed, pregnancy is involved, the previous bottle was a trial, or the repeat request has drifted too far from the last review.
Repeat Check Charge
Repeat dispensing check and label review is £6 plus bottle cost. Ruth checks the label rather than simply copying it forward.
Alcohol-Free Mixes
Glycerites Are Possible, Not Automatic
Alcohol-free glycerite mixes are £18 for 100ml and are available only where clinically suitable. Some plants extract poorly into glycerine, some formulas become too bulky, and some situations are better served by a different route altogether.
If alcohol is a concern, say so before the appointment rather than after the formula has been written.
Collection Rules
- Collection is from Room 3, Leechwell Yard by agreed time slot only.
- There is no drop-in dispensing and no shelf sale of tinctures.
- Minimum tincture order is 100ml.
- Tinctures are not made for people Ruth has not consulted.
