The consultation fee pays for Ruth’s time, case-taking and clinical judgement. Tinctures are priced separately because the bottle size and formula are decided after the appointment.

How The Work Moves From Email To Bottle
- 01Email Ruth. Send the reason for the appointment, your broad availability and any timing pressure that is not an emergency.
- 02Intake Notes. Ruth may ask for brief notes before booking, especially medication, diagnosis history and current supplements.
- 03Consultation. The first appointment is 75 minutes. Follow-ups are 35 minutes. The discussion comes before any bottle.
- 04Mixing. Tinctures are normally mixed within 2 working days. Same-day dispensing is sometimes possible for morning appointments.
- 05Collection Or Post. Collection is by agreed time slot. UK postage for tinctures is £4.80. Local Totnes delivery is £3.
Before You Come
Bring The Details That Change A Formula
Please bring a current medication list, recent blood results if relevant, and the supplements you actually take rather than the ones still sitting in a kitchen cupboard. If you are pregnant, under consultant care, or waiting for investigation, say so at booking.
Ruth Does Not Take On
- Emergency care, urgent diagnosis or symptoms needing same-day medical attention.
- Advice to stop prescribed medication or replace GP, midwife or consultant care.
- Weight-loss detox packages, parasite cleanses or miracle protocols.
- Tinctures for people Ruth has not consulted, except straightforward repeats for current clients.
- Cannabis, CBD, controlled substances or recreational preparations.
- High-risk pregnancy support without collaboration with the client’s midwife or doctor.
- Wild mushroom identification, phone-photo foraging checks or veterinary prescribing.
